Texas Couple Raffles Off Their Stunning Ranch To Inspire Self-sufficiency
A Texas couple has decided to part with a big 'ol ranch they worked 7 years to own. You may not have to wait quite that long ...
Imagine watching beautiful sunsets or sitting by a gently flowing little creek as you gaze over your own private kingdom, with 76 acres between you and the world.
It could happen and it might not even cost you as much as a 12 pack ... it's being raffled off by the owners.
A Texas couple named Jason and Katy Ballard worked for years to get their very own ranch, on which they planned to live and run their homestead business - producing grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, and free-range eggs.

Not mention camping and all the other cool aspects of ranch life. Now, that awesome lifestyle could be yours in Mason County, about 2 hours away from both Austin and San Antonio; 4 hours from Dallas. See pics here.
Why Are They Raffling Off Their Ranch?
We originally purchased the 76-acre property in Mason as a potential expansion for our family homestead. But we realized the most impactful way to grow our business was to give this land to someone else, and use the publicity to launch our mission to help and inspire others to start harnessing self-sufficiency skills, no matter where they are. This sweepstakes is the beginning of something truly unique: an organic process built on transparency and shared experience. - texaslanddream.com
How The Raffle Works
According to Raffall.com, a minimum of 190,000 tickets have to be sold for the ranch to be given away. If they don't sell that many, the winner gets a cash prize of 50% of whatever cash is raised and Raffall gets 10%. If all tickets sell, the winner has a choice of taking the land or $300,000 in cash.
