Popular Items Currently Under Recall at All Texas and Louisiana Walmarts
(KMDL-FM) Attention Walmart Shoppers, no doubt if you've been inside a Walmart store anytime in the past thirty or forty years, you've probably heard that phrase over the intercom. Currently, 138 Walmart retail units are operating in Louisiana. With an additional 590 such units operating in Texas. That's just a small part of the 4,605 Walmart's that operate throughout the country.
That's a lot of intercom announcements to have to sit and listen to when you think about it. Fortunately, we don't have to hear all the announcements from all the stores as we shop to the "hip and swinging sounds of Walmart Radio". And besides, the intercom announcements are usually good news, like hot, fresh French bread or additional savings on cantaloupes. But sometimes those messages can be very sinister.

No, you don't want a Walmart intercom announcement that mentions a color. That's usually a very bad sign. What's an even worse sign is when the Food and Drug Administration gets involved and has to issue recall notices on popular products sold at retailers such as Walmart.
I will hand it to the folks at "Wally World". They do look out for your safety as well as anyone in retail can. In fact, if you're ever wondering about product recalls, they keep a running list for both Walmart and Sam's Club products. You can see that list here.
But if you weren't aware, there are some major nationwide recalls that have just been announced that will need your attention.
The first is a recall of FreshRealm Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. You can read more about that recall here. Just know that if you have that product in your home, you should not consume it until you've read the details about the recall. That recall does include several sizes and varieties of the product.
Walmart is also overseeing a national recall concerning multiple brands of brown eggs sold in its stores. The eggs provided by August Egg company have been recalled to the tune of some 1.7 million dozen. Salmonella was the reported concern with that item.
There has also been a recall of Orajel and Zicam products manufactured by Church and Dwight. There are multiple products listed in this recall. You can see the extent of the recall here.
The recall list isn't limited to just food or health items; the Walmart list also includes products that have been recalled, including electric blankets and toys. You can view the entire recall list here.
