Chris Johnson is a Successful Business Owner, Generous Leader and Now, a Community Rockstar

It's Friday again, and that means that it's time to reveal a new Deep East Texas Community Rockstar. This week's star is a local business owner that is doing great things for our area.

Chris Johnson is the newest addition to the Community Rockstar list. He is the owner of Whataburger, but he does so much more than just oversee the day to day operations of the restaurant.

According to the nomination that we received, Chris Johnson "has built a reputation that goes far beyond running a successful business - he's become a true pillar of the East Texas community." They went on to say that he goes above and for the community through helping local families, teachers, schools, nonprofits and more. "One of the ways Chris makes a lasting impact is through sponsoring fundraising events at Whataburger, often donating proceeds directly back to local organizations."

They concluded their nomination with this, "His dedication to East Texas, combined with his generosity and leadership, has made him a standout figure and a true community rockstar."

Because of his leadership and dedication to Deep East Texas, Chris Johnson is this week's Deep East Texas Community Rockstar.
