Traffic Shift Number One

The first of the shifts will be for northbound traffic on Highway 59, which will take place on Tuesday, August 26.

Temporary lanes were built in what will become the median of Business Highway 59 when the relief route is completed. The existing right-hand lanes will be used with the temporary lanes to maintain two-lane highways for north and southbound traffic.

Traffic Shift Number Two

The second shift will be for the southbound lanes, set to begin on Wednesday, August 27. With traffic shifted, construction will begin on the relief route in this section of the project.

Traffic Shift Number Three

On US Highway 287, temporary pavement was built on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes. Traffic will move to the new pavement to provide space for the construction of the permanent roadway on the westbound side, near Dipping Vat Lane.

This third shift is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 28. All scheduled construction and traffic shifts should follow the timelines, weather permitting. Please slow down in construction zones and observe and obey all warning signs.

Expected Date of Completion

The Corrigan Relief Route is a 7-mile project that bypasses Corrigan to the west.
