50 Nursing Graduates Pinned At Angelina College Ceremony
I always look forward to Gary Stallard at Angelina College releasing the names of the latest graduates from the school's nursing program. After posting their names and photos, it's fun to see friends and family proudly commenting on these grads.
On Thursday, August 6, the Angelina College School of Health Careers held its traditional pinning ceremony for the 50 newest Vocational Nursing program graduates. This included students from both the 'Traditional' Vocational Nursing program and the Multi-Entry/Exit Program (MEEP). The graduation ceremony was held on campus at the Temple Theater.

Dr. Winifred Ferguson-Adams, Dean of the School of Health Careers, reminded the new nurses that they would gain more from their experiences with patients, colleagues, and supporters than money could ever buy. She also recognized instructor Patricia Hooks, who recently announced her retirement after spending 43 years in the nursing profession, including the past 14 as an Angelina College Nursing instructor.
